PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte which makes possible to obtain a secondary battery superior in capacity-keeping rate.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment of the present invention, a nonaqueous electrolyte comprises an azetidine-based compound expressed by a predetermined formula. It is inferred that the addition of the azetidine-based compound working as a coat-forming agent to the nonaqueous electrolyte allows a stable coat film to be formed on a negative electrode in initial charge and discharge. The coat film enables the suppression of the reductive decomposition of a component (especially a nonaqueous electrolytic solvent) in the nonaqueous electrolyte and the increase in capacity-keeping rate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
