PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further effectively prevent re-break of holes in a coke oven when hot repairing the broken holes of a furnace wall near an oven port of a coke oven chamber.SOLUTION: An operation method of a coke oven when hot repairing the broken holes of a furnace wall near an oven port of a coke oven chamber includes: installing a normal temperature furnace cover in an oven port after raising temperature of the furnace wall and the coke oven chamber; and inserting coal into the coke oven chamber after installing the normal temperature furnace cover. In more details, the method includes installing the normal temperature furnace cover having low sensible heat in the oven port after raising temperature of the furnace wall and the coke oven chamber, and inserting coal into the coke oven chamber so as to prevent coal from being heated from a furnace cover side and prevent the occurrence of irregular shape coke lumps. As a result of this, a Rankine coefficient of the whole coke cake becomes small so as to suppress side wall pressure small and further effectively prevent re-break of holes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
