PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor operable at room temperature, usable repeatedly, and showing sufficiently high sensitivity.SOLUTION: There is provided a gas sensor in which a semiconductor nanowire 4 is arranged between counter electrodes 2, 3, and the semiconductor nanowire 4 is in the state of being able to be applied with light, and a current change resulting from adsorption of gas onto the semiconductor nanowire, of a photocurrent generated by application of light to the semiconductor nanowire 4 is measured, in the state where a voltage is applied to the counter electrodes 2, 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
