PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic device capable of improving an environment, by suppressing a leak of VOC and ozone and by decomposing and removing bacterium, virus, mold, and the like existing around an installation place.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic device 11 of the present invention includes removing means 13 and 14 for adsorbing and decomposing ozone, and a volatile organic compound generated by the heat of a fixing unit 8. The removing means 13 and 14 are disposed in an exhaust gas channel or the like for discharging exhaust gas to the outside. Furthermore, the removing means 13 and 14 include an adsorption decomposition catalyst body that is a porous complex oxide produced by a sol-gel method and includes metal ions such as Mn substantially uniformly dispersed as mesh modification ions in a mesh of a three-dimensional network structure crosslinked by siloxane bonding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
