PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus in which image output according to wrong document size is suppressed, even if a temporary document size is different from a determined size, when the post-stage processing is started in advance according to the temporary document size before the document size is determined, and to provide a control method, program and a storage medium.SOLUTION: A controller starts processing after reading document in advance, according to a temporary document size detected on a document tray S805. When the document size is determined, the temporary document size is compared with a determined document size, and a determination is made whether or not there is a difference to be corrected S809.
