PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a character string which has been input in the past, corresponding to an input operation position on a predetermined screen.SOLUTION: An input support device 101 searches an input candidate table 112 for a character string corresponding to an input operation position on a predetermined screen 111. The input candidate table 112 is a table storing a fixed character string which has been fixed on the predetermined screen 111 in association with a coordinate position of the fixed character string input on the predetermined screen 111. In the example of Fig. 1, the input support device 101 detects a record 112-2 located in the same coordinate position as an X-coordinate x1 and a Y-coordinate y2, which are the coordinate position of an input character string "1" on the input predetermined screen 111, from the input candidate table 112.
