PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a parking mechanism.SOLUTION: The parking mechanism is provided that includes a parking pole supported freely turnably between an engagement position to be engaged with a parking gear of a transmission device and a release position to release the engagement, a detent plate turned according to a shifting operation, a guide member slidably moved on one member of the detent plate and the parking pole, and guiding the parking pole to the engagement position and the release position according to the turning of the detent plate, a slide contact part provided in the other of the detent plate and the parking pole, and coming in slide contact with the guide member to move the parking pole to the engagement position and the release position, and an elastic member for biasing the guide member to a direction of the slide contact part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
