PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a polymerizable sealing composition to be provided by using a composition formed of a binder component comprising a specific constituent and microcapsules of a specific constitution, the sealing composition, even though it is an aqueous composition with little load on the use environment, having good screw sealability, producing little shaved powder when screwing, and having good usability.SOLUTION: The polymerizable sealing composition comprises the following in respective specific compositional ratios: (1) microcapsules containing the following components (a) and (b), which are (a) a compound having a bisphenol skeleton and one or more (meth)acrylic groups in a molecule and (b) a (meth)acrylic monomer having a molecular weight in a specific range and a specific chemical structure; (2) a binder component of a specific structure; (3) an ingredient which cures the components (a) and (b), and (4) water.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
