PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a fin for a heat exchanger in which spring pack is hard to occur, and a punch used for the method.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a fin for a heat exchanger by press molding of a work-piece 12 comprising a belt-like metal flat plate includes an upward bending process in which the work-piece 12 is bent upwards by an upward bending punch 18, and a downward bending process in which the work-piece 12 is bent downwards by a downward bending punch 19. The upward bending punch 18 and the downward bending punch 19 respectively have molding surfaces 18a, 19a which are inclined with respect to a relative movement direction of the upward bending punch 18 and the downward bending punch 19, and an inclined plane is formed on the work-piece 12 by the inclined molding surfaces 18a, 19a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
