PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic type compressor in which a slide loss between a piston and a cylinder is reduced and performance is improved, in the compressor using a ball joint structure, and a refrigerator using the same.SOLUTION: In a piston 128 which is connected to a connecting rod 136 by using a ball joint structure 150 including a rotation regulation member 156 for regulating the rotation of the piston 128 with respect to the connecting rod 136, a form of a slide part 164 for coming into sliding contact with an inner peripheral surface of a cylinder 130 is formed in such a manner that a projection area in the horizontal direction becomes bigger compared to the vertical direction. By reducing a slide loss due to viscous friction between the piston 128 and the cylinder 130 while stably supporting a load in the piston 128 side direction, efficiency improves.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
