PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting structure for a window screen and the window screen that allow a general user who does not possess a professional installation skill to readily fit the window screen on a sash frame on an opening of a building.SOLUTION: A stopper piece 7 and an elastic member 5 are installed on a window screen frame 2 of a new window screen 1, the stopper piece being engaged from an indoor side on an engaged part 22b of an edge part 22 protruded along an inner peripheral side of an existing sash frame 20, and the elastic member being in contact elastically with the edge part 22 from an outdoor side. The stopper piece 7 has a base edge part 7a fitted on the window screen frame 2, and a hook-shape tip part 7b engaged with the edge part 22. While the stopper piece 7 is engaged with the edge part 22 and the window screen 1 is installed on the sash frame 20, the elastic member 5 is elastically deformed between the window screen 2 and the edge part 22 of the sash frame 20, thereby fixing the window screen frame 2 on the sash frame 20 with the elastic force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
