PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soot discharge device suitable for a small-sized asphalt finisher which is configured so that the small-sized asphalt finisher does not exceed the limit of mounting height when the asphalt finisher is mounted on a trailer.SOLUTION: A small-sized asphalt finisher 1 comprises a suction part 7 which is at least part of the lower part of a drive operation table 4 and/or a control box 3 and which is disposed at a position not to disturb the visual recognition of an asphalt mixture 6 by an operator, an exhaust fan part 9 for discharging soot in the suction part 7, and an exhaust duct part 8 attached to the exhaust fan part 9. The exhaust duct part 8 is disposed on the right side and/or left side of a vehicle body. The suction part 7 is laterally long and is disposed under the drive operation table 4 or the control box 3.
