PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical probe having further high adhesion strength and allowing a person to view an adhesive agent even in a production process.SOLUTION: An optical probe 30 is so configured that a hole section 12 for inserting an optical fiber 20 into a ferrule 10, includes: a first hole part 16; a diameter-reduction part 17 continuously extending to the first hole part 16 along an optical axis X, and, the diameter of which is gradually reduced, as its separating from the first hole 16; and a second hole part 18 continuously extending to the diameter-reduction part 17 along the optical axis X and having the diameter smaller than that of the first hole part 16. A coating part 22 is inserted into the first hole part 16 and fixed. A clad part 21 from which the coating part 22 is removed is fixed in the diameter-reduction part 17, the second hole part 18, and a groove part 19. Further, light transmittance of an adhesive agent before hardening in a visible-light region is smaller than the light transmittance of the ferrule 10 by 10% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
