PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmission cable capable of suppressing transmission loss while improving workability of wiring between devices.SOLUTION: A signal transmission cable 1A comprises a connector 10 having a signal processing circuit 12 and configured to be insertable into and withdrawable from an external device, and a coaxial cable 21 electrically connected to the signal processing circuit 12. The signal processing circuit 12 has one or both of a transmission processing part 122 and a reception processing part 123. The transmission processing part 122 receives a transmission signal S1 to output a reception signal S2 to the coaxial cable 21. The reception processing part 123 receives the reception signal S2 from the coaxial cable 21 to output an output signal S3 to the external device. The transmission signal S1 and the output signal S3 are differential signals. The reception signal S2 is a single ended signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
