PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire uniformity correction method that can correct a tire RFV more precisely and accurately within an appropriate range.SOLUTION: Using a uniformity correction device 1 formed by segments 2a to 2d, where a drum 2 retaining bead parts 8 and 9 at both right and left sides of a tire 7 from an inner peripheral side and moving to extend and shrink in a tire radial direction is divided into at least four parts in a tire circumference direction, the tire 7 is set by inserting the drum 2 into the bead parts 8 and 9 at both right and left sides, only the segment 2a corresponding to a tire circumferential position X and its nearby area that corresponds to a peak position of the tire 7's RFV waveform identified in advance is heated to a specified temperature range by a heating mechanism 5, and a state of the drum 2 where its diameter is extended to a specified position is sustained for a specified time by moving each segment 2a to 2d to an outer side in a tire radial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
