PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an imaging device capable of easily keeping a spacing uniform between a light-shielding layer and a light receiving element.SOLUTION: Provided is a method of manufacturing an imaging device that comprises: a first substrate 10 comprising a light receiving element 13; a second substrate 40 comprising a light-shielding layer 42 provided with an opening; a light transmissive part 30 arranged in a predetermined region between the first substrate and the second substrate, and that transmits light via the opening. A step of forming the light transmissive part includes: a first step of performing a first surface treatment to periphery of the predetermined region of at least one of the first substrate and the second substrate so that a predetermined droplet makes a first contact angle; a second step of performing a second surface treatment to inside of the periphery of the predetermined region so that the predetermined droplet makes a second contact angle smaller than the first contact angle; and a third step of discharging a droplet with light transmissivity onto the predetermined region subjected to the first surface treatment and the second surface treatment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
