PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tandem system image formation device that can curb occurrence of a transfer ghost without installing a pre-exposure device even when employing a DC charging system.SOLUTION: An image formation device 200 comprises: a plurality of image formation units 10Y to 10Bk that includes a photoreceptor 1, a charging roller 2, an exposure device 3, and a development device 4; an intermediate transfer belt 7 on which a toner image formed by the image formation units 10Y to 10Bk is sequentially transferred, and a color image is formed; a YM toner-amount calculator 34 that calculates an amount of toner of the toner image of a plurality of colors in which a toner image formed by image formation units 10Y and 10M of the plurality of image formation units is laminated on the intermediate transfer belt 7; and a controller 30 that, when a calculation result of the YM toner-amount calculator 34 is equal to or more than 1.1(mg/cm), reduces the number of lines per one inch in screen processing of a halftone image to be formed by an image formation unit C, and thereby shifts image resolution to a side of low resolution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
