PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading device, image forming apparatus, and program that can provide image quality suited for resolution compared with a case where lighting color is constantly switched at equal intervals.SOLUTION: When changing the resolution of reading with a CIS 52 by changing the speed of relative movement of the CIS to a document, an AFE 68 controls an LED 60 such that the difference between an irradiation interval, when the document is irradiated with rays of light in RGB, between the rays of light in adjacent colors in one cycle, and an irradiation interval from when the document is irradiated with the last ray of light in one cycle to when the document is irradiated with the first ray of light in the subsequent cycle, is changed according to the resolution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
