PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve conveyability of a printing medium in a printer.SOLUTION: On a head part 3b of an open end of an opening/closing cover 3 in a printer 1, there are disposed projecting parts T projecting from an inner wall surface of the opening/closing cover 3 at spots contacted by an unmounted label continuous body P having an adhesive surface on one surface. Among the projecting parts T, a long third projecting part T3 projecting longer than a first projecting part T1 of a first surface S1 and a second projecting part T2 of a second surface S2 is disposed on a third surface S3 positioned in the vicinity of a crossing line of the first surface S1 and the second surface S2 of the head part 3b of the opening/closing cover 3, and at printing conveyance time of the label continuous body P, the label continuous body P fed from a paper storage part 6 is supported by two contact points between a platen roller 10 and the third projecting part T3. Accordingly, frictional resistance of the label continuous body P at conveyance time is decreased so that conveyability of the label continuous body P is improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
