Disclosed are a sensing device for sensing fall of an object and an operation method thereof. The sensing device detects a first image corresponding to a moving object acquired through a camera. And the sensing device generates a motion history image by combining the first image for a predetermined time, and judges whether the object falls using the motion history image. The sensing device may include an object motion detection part for detecting the first image, and a behavior judgment part for judging fall of the object by generating the motion history image. |
