PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, when sludge containing fibers as in the case of paper making industrial waste water or the like is treated by using a sludge thickening device including a water channel rod, fibers are entangled with the water channel rod to lower function of the water channel rod.SOLUTION: An operational method of a sludge thickening device including a water channel rod has the first step for forming a water channel by moving the water channel rod at first speed, and the second step for exfoliating sludge entangled with the water channel rod.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
