PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identity specification system and an identity specification method in which: when installing an identification information recording device, in which identification information of an unidentified person is recorded, in the mouth of a user of the system, the installation can be carried out in a non-invasive manner; the method is reversible such that a restoration and a prosthesis as well as sound dentine can be restored to a state before the installation in a case where the identification information recording device becomes unnecessary after the installation; and an installation timing and an installation position of the identification information recording device are freely selectable.SOLUTION: The identity specification system is provided with: an identification information recording device in which identification information is recorded, the identification information recording device being stuck to a sound part of a natural tooth of an unidentified person or to an outer surface of a restoration or a prosthesis by a dental material including at least a dental adhesive material; an identification information reading device that reads the identification information from the identification information recording device via radio communication; and an identity specification device in which an identity information database is recorded, the identity specification device being capable of acquiring the identification information read by the identification information reading device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
