PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic video display device capable of simultaneously presenting the same stereoscopic video image to a plurality of observers without performing complicated adjustment, and a video generation program.SOLUTION: In a stereoscopic video display device 1, a left-eye video image and a right-eye video image for each observer are generated in accordance with a positional posture measured by a positional posture measuring device 10 by a video image generation device 20, the left-eye video image and the right-eye video image which are read out at a predetermined frame rate are alternately switched and rearranged in accordance with time series to generate a time-series video image. Thereafter, a buffer control signal is generated in accordance with switch timing of a left-eye frame and a right-eye frame. Further, a left-eye field video image and a right-eye field video image are captured from the time-series video image displayed on a video display device 30, the left-eye field video image and the right-eye field video image are held in accordance with the buffer control signal, and the held left-eye and right-eye field video images are then displayed to the observer by a head-mounted display device 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
