PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can increase the density of an image even when a developer is deteriorated without increasing developing contrast.SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus 100 including: a photoreceptor drum 1; a developing device 3 that develops an electrostatic latent image on the surface of the photoreceptor drum 1 with a developer to form a toner image; a potential sensor 5 that measures a toner potential (Vtoner) on the surface of the photoreceptor drum 1 after the development by the developing device 3; and a controller 13 that changes drive conditions of the developing device 3 on the basis of a potential difference between a toner potential (Vtoner) on the surface of the photoreceptor drum 1 after the development measured by the potential sensor 5 and a developing DC bias (Vdc) applied by the developing device 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
