PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation detector capable of preventing a reduction in the strength of a sensor attachment member.SOLUTION: A wheel velocity sensor 1 comprises: a sensor element 3 generating a pulse output signal based on a change in a magnetic flux density on the basis of a rotating state of a sensor rotor; a signal cable 2 connected to the sensor element 3 and transmitting the pulse output signal; a sensor covering portion 4 integrally covering the sensor element 3 and the signal cable 2; and a sensor housing 5 formed of a synthetic resin material and holding part of each of the sensor covering portion 4 and the signal cable 2. The signal cable 2 includes a curved portion 2b bent within the sensor housing 5. At a time of molding the sensor housing 5, a first open/close die and a second open/close die are disposed to face each other, and a pair of guide ribs is formed on both sides of a planar surface including the curved portion 2b to extend in a die split direction, respectively. A guide mark 55a is formed on a surface of the sensor housing 5 by the guide ribs protruding into a cavity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
