PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide iron nitride magnetic powder superior in magnetic property at a room temperature, by which the reduction in a coercive force can be suppressed even at a high temperature; and a bulk magnet arranged by use thereof.SOLUTION: Iron nitride based magnetic powder comprises FeNand has a circle area-equivalent diameter of 20-100 nm. The iron nitride based magnetic powder further comprises Mn of which the content is 1-10 at% to Fe. In each particle of the iron nitride based magnetic powder, a ratio of Mn to Fe at an analysis point located in a range from the surface to 5 nm is smaller than a ratio of Mn in the entire particle.
