PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil filter that can enhance the working efficiency during the replacement of a filter medium and a seal member and the reliability of seal performance between a cap and a case.SOLUTION: An oil filter 1 comprises a bottomed cylindrical case 2 opened in one end side, a cap 3 fastened with the case by rotational operation around an axis C with respect to the case, and a filter element 4 housed in a filter chamber S formed between the case and the cap. The filter element comprises a tubular filter medium 14 housed in the filter chamber with an axis thereof nearly coincident with the axis of the case, and a filter medium end plate 15 joined with an end face side of a side of the cap in an axial direction of the filter medium so as to seal the end face side. Further, an installation part 17 formed on an outer peripheral side of the filter medium end plate is attached with an annular seal member 18 pressure-welded on an inner peripheral surface of the case in a side of the opening end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
