PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that finds a route, through which air flow passes, by three-dimensionally grasping corners in a room and the position and shape of an obstacle, and can properly control a wind direction.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: a blowout port for blowing out air flow; a wind direction plate for changing the wind direction of air flow blown out from the blowout port; an obstacle detection unit 64 for detecting the position of an obstacle in a room; and an air flow control unit 66 for facing the wind direction plate toward a direction of avoiding the obstacle ahead of the obstacle and in a horizontal direction, with respect to the obstacle detected by the obstacle detection unit 64. The air conditioner further includes a wall detection unit 63 for detecting the positions of corners in the room. The air flow control unit 66 faces the wind direction plate toward a direction of avoiding the obstacle between the corners detected by the wall detection unit 63.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
