摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fundamental reinforcement method and a reinforcement structure for a hinge part of an existing girder bridge, for reinforcing the hinge part almost completely and integrating the entire bridge, thereby preventing a damage and deterioration during use and ensuring safe and comfortable drivability.SOLUTION: An existing hinge part is cut and removed in a predetermined replacement area. A jack 4 is installed at a required location in the replacement area. Compression force is applied on a bridge girder cross-section on both sides of the replacement area by extending the jack 4. Concrete is cast and hardened in the replacement area while keeping the jack 4 extruded. The jack 4 is loosened and removed after the concrete hardens, thus applying prestress on the concrete in the replacement area. This way, initial crack development during construction work and crack development during use of the replacement area may be suppressed, and concrete deterioration due to moisture supply such as rainwater from bridge surface may be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
