PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door opening/closing device capable of avoiding generation of return sounds of various levers and enabling a mechanism which resets a release restriction state to be installed in a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle door opening/closing device includes: a closing latch mechanism which holds a door at a closing position; an opening latch mechanism LO which holds the door at an opening position; a release motor mechanism which places the closing latch mechanism in release operation; an opening latch interlocking mechanism 90 which operates in a cancel direction from an initial position as the opening latch mechanism LO moves from an unlatch position to a latch position, but does not operate as the opening latch mechanism LO moves from the latch position to the unlatch position; and a release cancel input relay mechanism which switches from a connection state to a disconnection state through an operation of the opening latch interlocking mechanism 90 in the cancel direction so as to enable a ratchet stopping at the release position to return.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
