The present invention relates to a silicon secondary battery and, more specifically, to a solid silicon secondary battery having a solid electrolyte, and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, the silicon secondary battery reduces manufacturing costs, and minimizes environmental pollution when the secondary battery is discarded by replacing lithium of the secondary battery with silicon. Also, the silicon secondary battery increases current density and capacity by increasing density of positive or negative electrode active materials by laminating and compressing positive or negative electrode materials multiple times and manufacturing the positive or negative electrode active materials. Also, a mesh plate is embedded inside the positive and negative electrode active materials to efficiently move electrons. The electrodes of the silicon secondary battery connected in serial connection of the silicon secondary battery are commonly used, thereby reducing thickness and increasing output voltage of a silicon secondary battery assembly. Further, the silicon secondary battery is integrated with a PCB or a chip to supply power, thereby acting as a backup power for instantaneous discharge. |
