PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispose of excavated soil which is discharged in great volume.SOLUTION: Once a shield machine 10 starts excavating the ground, foaming equipment 12 injects foam between a pit face and a front face of a cutter 22 or into a chamber 26. Excavated soil in the chamber 26 is taken in from an introduction port 2810 of a screw conveyor 28 and moved toward a discharge port 2812 to be introduced into an introduction port 3602 of an agitation device 26. At this time, defoaming agent injection equipment 16 injects a defoaming agent into the excavated soil in the agitation device 36 from a plurality of places of a case 3606 of the agitation device 36. Consequently, the excavated soil and defoaming agent are agitated and mixed by the agitation device 36 to eliminate foam in the excavated soil. The excavated soil in the agitation device 26 when reaching a discharge port 3604 falls onto a lower belt conveyor 32 and is transferred to a transport vehicle 34 by the belt conveyor 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
