PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair and a method for receiving the back of a seating person in which the seating person can be seated while maintaining a physiologic curve of the spine and which excellently prevents the round back.SOLUTION: A chair includes: a seat part 14; a backrest part 16 which receives the back of a seating person seated on the seat part 14; and a backrest support part 18 which is arranged at the back of the backrest part 16 to support the backrest part 16 and is joined to the seat part 14. There are provided: a pivot shaft 31 which is an almost horizontal shaft arranged near an upper end of the backrest support part 18, pivotally supports a part near the upper side of the backrest part 16, and freely swings a lower end part 16a of the backrest part 16 in a back and forth direction; and a backward movement regulation part 50 which moves the lower end part 16a forward and backward and regulates backward movements of the lower end part 16a. The pivot shaft 31 is arranged at the height from the first lumbar spine to the first dorsal of the seating person, and the lower end part 16a is arranged at the height from the upper part of the sacrum to the fourth lumbar spine of the seating person.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
