PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device, a printing method and a program which can prevent generation of a gap at a joint between images when winding up a printed matter by a direct winding method and prevent deterioration in image quality.SOLUTION: The printing device comprises: conveying means provided with a conveying shaft for conveying a roll sheet of paper; recording means that records an image on the roll sheet of paper to be conveyed by conveyance motion by the conveying means; winding means provided with a winding shaft for winding a printed matter having the image recorded thereon; and control means that controls at least one of the conveying means and the winding means in order to generate sagging on the printed matter between the winding shaft and the conveying shaft and to generate tension on the printed matter between the winding shaft and the conveying shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
