PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharge head including liquid chamber partition wall parts each having a groove part of which a shape and a depth are freely set, and which is formed without increase in processes, for preventing outflow of an adhesive from a joint part, thus capable of eliminating impediments to vibration characteristics of an actuator part, and stabilizing liquid discharge characteristics.SOLUTION: The droplet discharge head includes: a nozzle substrate 300; an actuator substrate 100; and a protective substrate 200. The actuator substrate 100 includes: a pressure chamber substrate 101 forming compressed liquid chambers 5 and a flow path; a diaphragm 3 forming one surface of each of the compressed liquid chambers 5; piezoelectric elements 2 each formed by stacking a common electrode 10, a piezoelectric material 12 and an individual electrode 11, on the diaphragm 3; and a wiring layer for supplying a driving signal to the piezoelectric elements 2. The protective substrate 200 has recessed parts 67 partitioned by holding partition walls 201, and the holding partition walls 201 are joined to liquid chamber partition wall parts 4 by an adhesive 49. Each of the liquid chamber partition wall parts 4 to be joined to the holding partition walls 201 includes a groove part 46 to serve as a gap capable of holding the adhesive 49 having flowed out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
