PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mask requiring little time for preparation before use, and the like, and capable of effectively preventing fine particle substances and the like floating in the atmosphere from being inhaled while reducing and eliminating noxious effect thereof.SOLUTION: A mask main body 2A of a mask 1A, the mask main body 2A covering the mouth and the nose of a user, includes: an outer side layer 21 positioned outermost side in a fitted state; a liquid retaining layer 23 disposed inside the outer side layer 21 so as to be adjacent to the outer side layer 21; a filter layer 24 disposed inside the liquid retaining layer 23 so as to be adjacent to the liquid retaining layer 23; and an inner side layer 22 disposed inner side than the filter layer 24. The outer side layer 21 has at least one opening 211 through which a sterilization deodorant liquid atomized or sprayed toward an outer side surface 21a of the outer side layer 21 is allowed to pass. The liquid retaining layer 23 retains, by absorbing, the sterilization deodorant liquid passing through the opening 211 of the outer side layer 21.
