The invention relates to a cordage (rigging) furnished with and internal or external reinforcing elongation extendable along with the cordage when this last is in stretched-out condition. In the occurrence of cordage breakage, said reinforcement will retain the two stretched-out sections of the cordage for protecting the users from violent rearward contraction effects.
