The purpose of the present invention is to provide a sulfide solid electrolyte material having excellent ion conductivity. To achieve the objective of the present invention, provided is the sulfide solid electrolyte material containing a Li element, a Ge element, a P element, a S element, and an X element (X is at least one among F, Cl, Br, and I), having a crystal phase A having a peak in a position of 2&thgr; = 29.58°± 1.00° with respect to X ray diffraction measurement using a CuKα line, having a composition of y(LiX)·(100-y)(Li_3.35Ge_0.35P_0.65S_4)(y is satisfied with 0<y<20), and not having a crystal phase B having a peak in a position of 2&thgr; = 25.20°± 1.00° with respect to X ray diffraction measurement using a CuKα line. |
