摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method for manufacturing a composite active material which enables the increase in a battery output in the case of using it for a lithium battery chiefly; and a lithium battery including the composite active material.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a composite active material comprises: a preparation step for preparing composite particles including active material particles having at least one of a cobalt element, a nickel element and a manganese element and further, a lithium element and an oxygen element, and an oxide-based solid electrolyte entirely or partially covering the surface of each active material particle; and a coating step for coating the composite particles with a crystal sulfide-based solid electrolyte by mixing the composite particles and the sulfide-based solid electrolyte while controlling a temperature of a mixture thereof to be 58.6°C or below and applying an energy enough to cause the plastic deformation of the sulfide-based solid electrolyte.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
