摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microlens array substrate that can improve the efficiency of use of light to obtain bright display and good contrast ratio, an electro-optical device, and an electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: A microlens array substrate 10 includes a substrate 11 that has concave parts 12 provided on a surface 11a, lens layers 13 that are provided to embed the concave parts 12, and an optical path length adjustment layer 14 that is provided to cover the lens layers 13. The concave part 12 has a flat part 12a arranged at the center part thereof; the refractive index of the lens layer 13 is larger than the refractive index of the substrate 11; the refractive index of the optical path length adjustment layer 14 is larger than the refractive index of the substrate 11 and equal to or smaller than the refractive index of the lens layer 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
