PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety confirmation determination device capable of accurately determining whether a driver has carried out necessary safety confirmation.SOLUTION: A safety confirmation determination device 10 comprises: a target angle detection unit 11 for detecting an angle of a target around a vehicle with respect to a front direction of the vehicle; a line-of-sight-angle detection unit 12 for detecting an angle of a line of sight of a driver with respect to the front direction of the vehicle; a running-state-data acquisition unit 13 for acquiring data indicating a running state of the vehicle; a line-of-sight-reference-direction determination means 14 for determining a reference direction of the line of sight of the driver in response to the running state of the vehicle; and a gaze determination unit 15 for determining whether the driver is gazing at the target. The gaze determination unit 15 determines that the driver is gazing at the target if the line-of-sight angle changes from an angle within a predetermined range including the line-of-sight reference direction to an angle within a predetermined range equal to or higher than a predetermined velocity and including the angle of the target.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
