PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that suppresses generation of irregularity in a panel.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes: a base 5 that has a rectangular bottom 8 and side walls 51 extending from respective outer edges of the bottom 8 in directions intersecting the bottom 8; a liquid crystal panel 3 that is stored in a space 91 enclosed by the bottom 8 and inner circumference surfaces of the side walls 51; a display cover that is in contact with and fixed to end surfaces of the side walls 51 in the direction where the side walls 51 extend, over the whole perimeter along the respective outer edges of the bottom 8, and that covers a display screen 110 of the liquid crystal panel 3; and a flexible printed circuit board 9 with one end 9a thereof electrically connected to the liquid crystal panel 3 and the other end 9b drawn to the outside of the space 91.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
