PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press device capable of horizontally drawing a slide while having stiffness to bear a large eccentric load.SOLUTION: A slide 10 is equipped with a gib block 20 attached to the slide 10 and slidably guided to an upright 3. In the slide 10, the maximum width of at least one of a fore-and-aft direction or a lateral direction of pressing, is formed to be narrower than the inside width of an interval of the uprights 3 in that direction. The gib block 20 is detachably supported by a slide body 11, and a guide portion sliding with the upright 3 is disposed so as to sandwich a side surface of the upright 3 from at least two directions. The slide 10 can be drawn from between the uprights 3 adjacent to each other by horizontally sliding, and large-scale work such as removing a crown 2 can be made unnecessary, so that the maintenance work of a press device can be easily performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
