Disclosed is a computer-implemented method. A graphic display displays an editing interface (14) for creating a custom version of a configurable document (12) that comprises a collection of subparts (16, 18, 20). One or more of the subparts (16, 18, 20) comprises a plurality of dimensions, the editing interface (14) provides for selection of a particular predefined version of the configurable document (12) from a plurality of predefined versions of the configurable document (12) and each predefined version comprises a subset of the collection of subparts (16, 18, 20). A version-selection instruction is received via editing interface (14) that indicates a selected predefined version of the configurable document (12) from the plurality of predefined versions. In response to the version-selection instruction, the graphic display displays the collection of subparts (16, 18, 20) in the editing interface (14), and visually indicates in the editing interface (14) which subparts (16, 18, 20) from the collection are included in the selected predefined version. One or more sub-part selection instructions are then received via the editing interface (14) that indicates to select or de-select an individual subpart from the collection of subparts (16, 18, 20). Then, one or more dimension-selection instructions are received via the editing interface (14) that indicates to select a particular dimension for one or more of the selected subparts (16, 18, 20). Finally, a document-generation instruction is received and a custom version of the configurable document (12) is responsively generated. The custom version includes the selected dimension for each of the one or more subparts (16, 18, 20) that are selected in the editing interface (14). |
