The present invention relates to chambers of honeycomb structure for compressed gas storage. The system of chambers of honeycomb structure for compressed gas storage comprises sectional modules ensuring adaptability of dimensions and settings of compressed gas underground storage facilities. The system of honeycomb chambers for compressed gas storage comprises a storage tank with assembled honeycomb chambers, consisting of modules of chamber storage sections having an elongated hexagonal shape and ensuring creation of a system of stable stacked interlinked chambers for compressed gas storage; a chamber segment comprising one or more interlinked fittings to ensure interlinking of the stacked blocks, and a storage tank with free overflowing of the compressed gas; an elongating segment of the chamber providing extension of the storage tank with assembled honeycomb chambers to increase the storage capacity; an external end lid of the chamber to seal one end of the storage tank with assembled honeycomb chambers; an internal end lid to seal one end of the storage tank with assembled honeycomb chambers; an intermediate insert of the chamber to provide a support for the inclined buried sections of the bottom layer of the stacked storage tanks with assembled honeycomb chambers; an inlet hole of the storage facility for connection to the connecting fittings to provide compressed gas supply to the system of honeycomb chambers for compressed gas storage; and an outlet hole of the storage facility for connection to the connecting fittings of the chambers for the compressed gas discharge from the system of honeycomb chambers for compressed gas storage. |
