The device (D) has a processing unit (MT) estimating a relative position of a driver's head with respect to a reference position. The processing unit generates image data defining an image to be displayed in a vehicle (V). The image data represents a part of the vehicle and exterior environment of a part defined by captured environmental data, along a selected view point and according to the relative position of head. A treating unit is arranged to define and memorize reference position of the driver head to the moment in which a view point is chosen.
