The present utility model relates to the "Process of Producing Sweet Rice Cake". The major interest of this study is to process and produce sweet rice cake, where this material is just locally produced. The product is being process in the locality where rice and water is the only ingredient used. The materials used in the utility model were the following: rice/ mill grinder, mixing bowl, vat, spider ladle, strainer, utility tray, stove and basin. The ingredients were the following: rice flour, sugar, durian flesh, chocolate and pandan extract and packaging materials. The process of producing sweet rice cake comprises the following steps: preparation of rice flour; measuring predetermined amount of ingredients such as rice flour, water, white sugar, and flavor; mixing of the said ingredients; molding of mixture to the desired shape and size; deep frying of molded mixture; and cooling. Process of preparation of rice flour comprises the steps of: selecting good quality rice; cleaning and washing selected rice; soaking the washed rice in water for 2 hours; drying the soaked rice; and grinding dried rice. Process of the said flavor is selected from chocolate, durian and pandan. |
