According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for filing a hole of a depth image includes the following steps: (a) an image processing device divides the depth image into super pixel units; and (b) the image processing device fills the hole of the depth image by using at least one among depth values sampled from the super pixel including the hole and depth values sampled from one or more super pixels adjacent to the super pixel. According to the present invention, the hole of the depth image can be filled more correctly and efficiently as a method wherein the super pixels and an edge obtained from a color image complement each other is used.
