<p>The lock (2) has a bolt (10) that swivels readily so as to cooperate with a striking plate (6) e.g. rod, of an opening i.e. engine cowling. Another bolt (16) swivels readily to lock the bolt in a position of insertion with the striking plate. A set of transmission units such as contact surfaces (24, 26), is provided between the former bolt and the latter bolt such that the latter bolt swivels in the locking position when the latter bolt is brought in the position of insertion with the striking plate. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle.</p> |
