摘要 The invention relates to a method for spectral compression of short spectrally broad laser pulses, comprising an optical light conversion process in a non-linear crystal, characterised in that it comprises the following steps: a) a laser pulses divided in a beam splitter plate generating two copies of the light pulse, whereas b) one copy of the light pulse is reflected from one of the sides of a Bragg structure component, which includes in the pulse a linear chirp consistent with the characteristics of the Bragg structure component, and the other copy of the light pulse is reflected from the other side of the same chirped Bragg structure component, which induces opposite linear chirp in the pulse, and subsequently c) both pulse copies strike a non-linear crystal, where the sum of frequencies of these two linearly chirped light pulses is generated, and the desired narrow-bandwidth light pulse is obtained. The present invention relates also to an optical system for the same.
